Eliette Harris is a British violinist from Brighton. Eliette was honoured to study with Yossi Zivoni during her undergraduate and continued her studies with Krzysztof Śmietana at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, as a scholarship holder. Eliette plays on the beautiful 1740 Calcanius violin kindly awarded to her by the Harrison Frank Family Foundation.

Eliette is regularly invited to perform as a soloist, collaborating with a number of ensembles across the country, and holds the 2023 Coro Nuovo Musician of the Year competition award. Chamber music is an incredibly important part of her musical life, working across a number of different ensembles of like-minded musicians.

She is a founding member of the Larisa Trio, with whom she has performed for 6 years, and joined the Resol Quartet as 1st Violin in 2023. Eliette also joined the Salome Quartet as guest 2nd violinist for a number of performances, including a recital at the historic Oxford Hollywell Music Room. Within the orchestral world, Eliette performs across a number of ensembles including the BBC Concert Orchestra, Hallé, BBC Philharmonic, Manchester Camerata, and London Mozart Players; as well as leading the Guildhall Symphony Orchestra during her time there.

Eliette feels very passionately about music education, having had the privilege of studying with incredible tutors she feels very indebted to. She teaches across a number of musical settings, most recently leading workshops in partnership with Wigmore Hall, working with both children and adults to help them develop their musical expression and identity.
